  • Can I bring snacks?

    We do not accept any large coolers or containers for meals, but you are welcome to bring tiny, personal snacks (things that fit on your lap or under your seat) with you on the tour. There is no need to carry anything because we provide water, chocolate, and crackers for all of our visitors on the trip. Additionally, bear in mind that a lot of wineries prohibit outside food.

  • Can I choose my wineries that I visit?

    If you reserve a private tour, you can select the wineries you visit. For parties of ten or more guests, or for guests who select our "private label" tour option.

  • Can I drink alcohol while in the vehicle during the tour?

    No. Don't worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy a delicious drink because we want everyone to have a wonderful and unforgettable experience while on our excursions. We will be taking you to some fantastic wineries featuring some locally made wine.

  • Can you pick me up for my tour at my hotel?

    We provide pick-up and drop-off service at all downtown/Riverwalk hotels, as well as select San Antonio resorts. If you are unsure whether your hotel is within this pick-up range, please call us at 210-488-6867.

  • Do I need a reservation to take a tour?

    Definitely! Space is limited, and we’ll pick you up from your location.

  • Do I need to pay upfront, or what if I want everyone in my party to pay individually?

    If you choose to book online, you will be required to pay for the tour upfront. If you would like to pay on the day of the tour with your tour guide or have your party pay individually, please call us at 210-488-6867 to place a credit card on file to solidify your reservation, and your tour guide will be able to accept payment on the day of the tour with either cash or credit card.

  • How far in advance should I book my tour?

    We recommend that you schedule your tour at least 48 hours in advance, although tours on Saturdays and holiday weekends tend to fill up about three weeks in advance, so we recommend booking as soon as possible.

  • Is lunch included?

    No, lunch is not included; however, we plan a stop in one of the nearby towns ( Fredericksburg, Comfort, or Boerne) for everyone to grab a bite.

  • I live in San Antonio; can you pick me up at my house for my tour?

    Residential pick-up and drop-off services are only available for our private excursions (the "Private Label" tour option or for parties of 10+). Locals will be offered a $10 discount when meeting us at one of 2 designated pick-up locations (the Pearl or Crossroads )

  • Should I tip my Tour Guide?

    Gratuity is greatly appreciated by our guests, and that decision is completely at your discretion. You can tip in advance when you book online, or you are more than welcome to tip your tour guide in cash. 10-15% is a customary tip for your tour guide.

  • What does my tour prices cover?

    Your tour price covers your wine tasting fees(typically $25-$75 per person), Gratuity to the wine tasting host at each winery we visit on your tour, the cost of fuel & transportation to the Hill Country wine region from San Antonio (approx. 95-180 mi. roundtrip), individual snack bag for each guest, and your tour guide service for the day.

  • What Wineries do we visit?

    Our visits to the area's more than 70 wineries are seldom entirely preplanned or fixed in stone. The day of the week, the winery's availability, the size of the tour group, etc. are all factors in determining which vineyards we visit that day. Your tour guide will typically evaluate the itinerary for the day and schedule the winery visits accordingly.
